Ditron Leadership
and History
Ditron was started to provide precision electronic connector solutions—and more.
The name Ditron was created as an abbreviation of the phrase “Dies for Electronics.” Founded in 1963, Ditron was purchased in 2002 by our current President and CEO John Goulding and his partner, V.P. of Operations Jeffrey L. Woodin.
John and Jeff brought to Ditron a combination of engineering expertise and entrepreneurial energy. Recognizing the accelerating pace in which the electronics world was evolving, the partners detected there was a need for better and more effective electronic connectors. They also knew they could improve on how small Stamped Parts were manufactured and delivered to customers.
These beliefs lead to the drafting of a simple, 3-part corporate mission focused on increasing stamping efficiency, maintaining and improving quality, and honoring every customer with Respect, quick Response, innovative stamping Remedies. John and Jeff were convinced dedication to this mission would be recognized as invaluable by potential clients. They were right.
Ditron expanded to deliver start-to-finish solutions for precision stamped parts.
In 1990, Ditron’s steady growth lead to the construction of a 32,000 s.f. facility in Stormville New York that Ditron calls “home” today. Offering cradle-to-grave service programs, our operation features departments staffed by trained experts in Engineering, Tooling, Stamping, Finishing, Quality Inspection, Packaging and Shipping. Clients served include leading manufacturers in the United States, China, India, South America and Europe. Ditron management and support teams are focused on every customer’s success. We are ready to do “whatever it takes” — and then some — to meet and exceed your stamped part needs.
