Quality Manager

Seeking a top-level Quality Manager with 5 to 7 years of Quality Control experience with thorough knowledge of micro-precision manufacturing to oversee our Quality Inspection Team. Strong math skills and knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods required. Certification of quality control and/or a BS in Mechanical Engineering Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and qualify all inspectors
  • Maintain full ISO registration
  • Maintain full TS compliance
  • Clearly communicate with customers/suppliers on quality issues
  • Perform Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and all corresponding flow diagrams
  • Fully comprehend and demonstrate capability to problem solve by root cause analyses
  • Create inspection procedures including development of special gauging
  • Evaluate and establish process control using statistical tools: CP/CPK and R&R studies
  • Direct all company efforts to continued improvement
  • Plan and direct studies to resolve production problems related to tools, equipment, materials,
    processes and methods
  • Generation and control of documents

Skills

  • Proven experience as quality manager of micro-precision manufacturing
  • Conscientious and responsible
  • A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach
  • Clear and concise communicator
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Well versed in Geometric Tolerancing
  • Proficiency with all inspection equipment such as: comparators, micrometers, and toolmaker’s
    microscope
  • In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
  • Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods

Education and Experience

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering
    Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
  • 5 to 7 years of Quality Control experience with thorough knowledge of micro-precision manufacturing
  • Must be a US Citizen due to government contracts
